Geography map games

Locate countries and cities, rebuild a scrambled world map, or identify a place from the scene. Every game turns a different part of world geography into something tactile and replayable.

Why map games make geography stick

Knowing a place name, recognising a landscape and understanding how continents connect are different skills. These games train them separately: location quizzes test recall, the jigsaw tests spatial relationships, and the visual game tests observation and geographic inference.

For the fastest progress, choose one mechanic first. Learn a region with a location quiz, reinforce the shape of the whole world with the jigsaw, then test whether road, architecture and climate clues help you recognise a real destination.

These are location games, not travel trackers. If you want to record where you have personally been, use the visited countries map or visited US states map.
