About TripMemo

TripMemo brings photos, places and notes together in organised, collaborative TripBooks. Built by travellers, it gives every journey a place to be remembered and shared.

Why we built TripMemo

The journeys we care about are more than the photos we take. They live in the places we found, the people beside us and the small details that made each day feel different. TripMemo keeps all of it together in one story, so the whole trip stays easy to remember.

Our mission is simple: make keeping a trip feel as natural as living it.

The teams behind the work

TripMemo uses transparent team bylines when editorial research or product information is a shared responsibility rather than the work of one named founder.

Our values

Glossy heart containing a mountain landscape

Stories over storage

We care less about filling a camera roll and more about keeping why a moment mattered—the people, places and details behind the photo.

Glossy globe with an aeroplane following a travel route

Made for real trips

Plans change, signal disappears and friends remember different things. TripMemo is designed to keep working through all of it.

Three softly rounded layers arranged into a simple stack

Keep it simple

Organising photos, maps and shared memories is complicated behind the scenes. Using TripMemo should never feel that way.

Two glossy conversation bubbles with a heart

Built by listening

Traveller feedback goes straight into the product. We respond, learn and improve the details that make real trips easier to keep.

My favourite app for travel <3

TripMemo has become my favourite app for travel and I would honestly recommend it to anyone who loves travel. Me and my partner always use it when we go away now, it’s so fun collaborating on a trip book and captioning all our (silly) photos we always laugh when we see each other add stuff to each day. The app is so aesthetic and enjoyable I find myself opening it just to go around the app haha. I’ve always wanted a travel journal and TripMemo is definitely the best out there for that. I’ve easily added all my past trips and love seeing all my stats and stamps of where I’ve been. Thank you to the developers who have always been so helpful to me and always reply to my emails so quickly. They have been adding new features and improving the app so fast it’s amazing to see! They actually implemented one of my requests which was incredible. Thank you TripMemo team you are the best <3 Your app is my trip diary full of so many amazing memories. I always tell my friends if you love travel, you will love TripMemo!!

    Great app!

Really lovely app for keeping a travel journal. Just added all my photos from Greece, it organised them in a book by day and made them look beautiful. I also added captions and notes so I will actually remember what happened. Much better than just scrolling through my camera roll. Simple to use too.

    Gave my trips a home

All my travel photos were a mess and lost in my camera roll. Now my favourite memories and places are all nicely sorted into books on the app. Recently I surprised my girlfriend with a vintage folder of our Italy trip using the feature that makes photos look vintage. Now that’s where we go to remember the trip!

    Actually useful

I’ve tried a few travel journal apps and normally stop using them after a day. Been using this one for three trips now. Easy to keep up with and I actually go back and look at the trips afterwards.

Didn’t expect to use it this much

Downloaded it before going to Spain because I wanted somewhere to save photos properly. I ended up adding something every day. Now I’m putting my older holidays in too.

Good if you’re bad at journaling

I’ve bought actual travel journals multiple times and every one has about three written pages. This works much better because I can add a photo and write one sentence when I want to.

Turned into a bit of an obsession

Started with this summer’s holiday, then last summer, then somehow I was looking through photos from 2019 at midnight trying to remember the name of a beach in Greece.

About TripMemo

What is TripMemo?

TripMemo is a travel journal app for iPhone that turns trip photos, places and notes into organised, day-by-day books called TripBooks. Travellers can build them alone or collaborate with a partner, family or friends.

What is a TripBook?

A TripBook is a digital book for one journey. It brings the trip’s cover, dates, places, photos and written memories into chronological pages designed to be read again, not buried in a camera roll.

Is TripMemo free?

TripMemo is free to download on the iOS App Store. Optional weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions unlock unlimited TripBooks, unlimited collaborators, full travel statistics and priority cloud backup; current prices are shown by Apple before purchase.

Does TripMemo work offline?

Yes. You can add photos, write notes and pin places without a signal. Those changes are kept on your device and sync when a connection is available again.

Can several people contribute to one trip?

Yes. Couples, families and groups can contribute their photos and perspectives to the same TripBook. Changes sync between collaborators so the journey becomes one shared record.

Are TripBooks private?

TripBooks are private by default. You choose when to invite a collaborator or create a viewing link, and TripMemo has no public follower feed or advertising-driven algorithm.

Can I turn an older trip into a TripBook?

Yes. Bulk upload lets you add photos from a past journey, and TripMemo uses their dates to organise them into chronological days that you can then edit and annotate.

Is TripMemo available on Android?

TripMemo is currently available only for iPhone. Android is on the product roadmap, but no public release date has been announced.

Who founded TripMemo?

TripMemo was co-founded by Max and Samantha. They began developing the idea in 2024 after repeatedly finding that the photos, places and details from their own trips ended up disconnected.

Who operates TripMemo?

TripMemo is operated by TRIPMEMO LTD, an independent company registered in England under company number 16738352. Product questions and support requests can be sent directly to support@tripmemo.app.

Who creates TripMemo’s travel content?

TripMemo’s content is published under Max or Samantha when it reflects their direct work or experience, and under the TripMemo Editorial or Product Team when responsibility is shared. Every byline links to the relevant profile and publishing process.

How can I report an error or suggest an improvement?

Contact the TripMemo team through the contact page or email support@tripmemo.app. Product feedback is reviewed by the team, while factual content corrections follow the published editorial and corrections process.
