Questions

12
01How do I find warm countries by month?

Pick a month, the warmth level you want, and an optional region or budget filter. The tool ranks destinations on average air temperature, sea temperature, rain risk, and seasonal fit, and flags any active hurricane or cyclone season.

02What counts as a warm country?

It depends on what you want. TripMemo treats anything from 22°C average daytime high as "warm" (short-sleeve weather), 27°C+ as "hot", and 31°C+ as "very hot" — useful when you want guaranteed beach heat.

03Where is hot in November?

Caribbean ABC islands (Aruba, Curaçao) just outside the hurricane belt, Cape Verde, the Canary Islands, Thailand and Vietnam at the start of the dry season, and Dubai once the worst heat fades.

04Where is hot in December?

Thailand and the Maldives in peak dry season, the Caribbean entering high season, Mexico Caribbean (Cancún, Tulum), Goa, Cape Verde, and the Canary Islands for short-haul winter sun from Europe.

05Where is hot in January?

Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Goa for guaranteed dry-season heat; the Caribbean in peak season; Cape Town for southern-hemisphere summer; Tenerife and Gran Canaria for the warmest short-haul option.

06Where is hot in February?

The Gambia is one of the hottest options anywhere short-haul. Otherwise Phuket, Goa, Maldives, Caribbean, Mexico Pacific, Cape Town, Costa Rica, and Tenerife.

07Where is warm without much rain?

Egypt and the United Arab Emirates run very dry year-round. The Canary Islands, Cape Verde, and the Caribbean ABC islands have low rain even in shoulder seasons.

08Which warm countries are outside the hurricane belt?

The Caribbean ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao) sit south of the main hurricane track and stay reliable in autumn. Mediterranean and African Atlantic destinations are unaffected by Atlantic hurricanes too.

09Is the sea warm enough to swim?

Comfortable swimming starts around 22°C and the tool shows monthly sea temperatures. Tropical destinations stay above 27°C year-round; the Mediterranean only crosses 22°C from late May to October.

10Where is the cheapest warm country in winter?

Egypt, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Goa, and Sri Lanka all combine winter heat with low daily costs. Türkiye and The Gambia are also cheap warm-weather options.

11When does the Caribbean hurricane season run?

Officially 1 June to 30 November, with peak activity from August to October. The ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao) are usually outside the main track.

12Does this replace a weather forecast?

No. It is a seasonal planning tool that uses average climate data. Always check a current forecast close to departure, especially in hurricane, cyclone, monsoon, or typhoon regions.
