How do you play the street view geography game?
Study the travel scene for environmental and cultural clues, then search for the city or place where you think it was photographed. Your score is based on the great-circle distance to the real location.
Is this a free GeoGuessr-style game?
It is a free visual geolocation game with no signup. TripMemo uses a curated travel-photo collection rather than live Google Street View panoramas, so every round is selected for visual quality and fair clues.
How are location scores calculated?
A location guess within 25 kilometres earns 5,000 points. Scores then decrease smoothly as the great-circle distance grows. Revealing a clue reduces the available score for that round.
Is this the same as Pin the City?
No. Pin the City gives you a known city name and tests where it belongs on a map. This game hides the place name and asks you to identify it from the visual scene.
