Visa-Free Countries for Vietnam Passport 2026

Around 52 destinations require an embassy visa applied for in advance. The list typically includes major closed or restricted-entry markets — see the full list below grouped by continent.

For most destinations, Vietnam passport holders apply for a visa-on-arrival or eVisa as listed below. Schemes like ESTA, ETIAS, and the UK ETA do not apply to Vietnam passport holders for visa-exempt entry.
