Make a photo book of your Mallorca trip
- 4 illustrated covers drawn for Mallorca
- 2 places on the covers
- Hardcover, softcover or layflat, in three sizes
- Made on the web or in the app, printed when you order
A Mallorca holiday has more in it than the photos from the sunlounger suggest. There is the morning you drove the hairpins down to Sa Calobra, the afternoon in Deià when the light went gold on the mountain, the ensaïmada eaten on a bench in Palma and the cala you swam in before anyone else arrived. A book keeps the whole island, not just the pool.
The covers are made for an island summer. Palma has two of its own, both drawn in palms, and two read Mallorca: a straw hat with a striped ribbon and sunglasses beside a lemon, and a plain golden sun.

Where in Mallorca?
The cities, coasts and corners the Mallorca covers are drawn for. Pick the place your trip was about, or keep the whole country on the front.

Palma
2 covers
Palma is a proper city, not just a port. The Gothic bulk of La Seu reflected in the lake of the Parc de la Mar, Gaudí's canopy over the altar inside, the round courtyard of Bellver Castle above the bay, the boutiques of the Passeig del Born and dinner in the old fishermen's quarter of Santa Catalina. Its two covers draw palms: three trees against a blue sky, and a single frond on pink.

The Serra de Tramuntana
The mountains along the north-west coast are where most of the island's best pictures come from. Valldemossa, where Chopin spent a winter in the monastery, the honey-stone village of Deià above its tiny cove, the orange groves around Sóller and the stone lanes of Fornalutx. The straw hat cover suits these pages, or retitle any design with the name of your village.

Pollença, Alcúdia and Formentor
The north is a quieter base: Pollença's Calvari steps up to a small chapel, the walled old town of Alcúdia and its long shallow bay, and the road out along the Formentor peninsula to the lighthouse at the island's tip. A sunny family week here fits the golden sun cover.

The east coast and the south
The east is a string of small coves, many of them inside the Mondragó natural park, and the Coves del Drac at Porto Cristo, where a concert is played from boats on an underground lake. In the south, Es Trenc is a long white beach backed by dunes and salt pans. The straw hat and the sun both suit a book that is mostly beaches.
Mallorca photo book ideas
Most Mallorca trips are a week of sun from one base, with a few days spent exploring: a day in Palma, a drive through the mountains, a boat to a cove. Here is how to turn those days into chapters.
Build it chapter by chapter
Follow the route you took and let each stop be its own chapter. Turn on day pages and every day opens with a page you can title, so the book reads in the order you lived it.
Palma
La Seu from across the lake in the Parc de la Mar, the light through its rose window inside, the bay from Bellver Castle, and the market stalls at the Mercat de l'Olivar.

Valldemossa and Deià
The cobbled lanes and potted plants of Valldemossa, Deià's stone houses climbing the hill, and the sea from the Son Marroig viewpoint near the Na Foradada rock.
Sóller and Sa Calobra
The vintage tram from Sóller down to the port, orange trees in the valley, the road that loops under itself on the way to Sa Calobra, and the gorge mouth of the Torrent de Pareis.
The north
The view down the Calvari steps in Pollença, Alcúdia's town walls, and the cliffs from the Mirador Es Colomer on the way to the Formentor lighthouse.
The calas
Turquoise water between pine-covered rocks at Cala Mondragó, the pale sand and dunes of Es Trenc, and the underground lake of the Coves del Drac.
Villa and pool days
The view from the terrace at breakfast, the pool before anyone else is up, a pa amb oli lunch in the shade, and the same sunset on the last night.
The little things
The landmarks take care of themselves. These are the photos you’ll be glad you took.
- An ensaïmada in its dusting of sugar
- Pa amb oli with tomatoes and olives
- Sobrassada at the market
- Green shutters on a stone house
- Almond trees in blossom, if you came in late winter
- Your hire car on a mountain hairpin
- Espadrilles by the pool

Make it yours
Mallorca holidays tend to be a week from one base, with day trips out. Let day pages mark each outing, the mountain drive, the boat to a cove, the Sunday market, so the book reads as more than seven days by the pool. Captions help with the names of the calas and the beach bar you would book again, and a short note can hold the moment the car met a coach on the Sa Calobra road.
Families often come back to the same villa or hotel every year. Keep one cover, retitle it with the town or the villa's name, and change the year each summer for a row of matching spines.
Hardcover, softcover or layflat
The same Mallorca cover on all three books. Choose the one that suits your trip.

Mallorca photo book questions
Which cover suits a Palma city break?
Palma has two covers of its own, both titled Palma: three tall palms against a bright blue sky, and a palm frond with a pink shadow on pink. The first is calmer, the second is the bolder choice.
We stayed in Alcúdia, Pollença or Puerto Pollensa. Is there a cover for that?
There is no cover named for the towns, but any design can be retitled. The straw hat and the golden sun both read Mallorca, and you can change the title to your resort or the name of your villa.
Can I put Mallorca and Menorca or Ibiza in one book?
Yes. An island-hopping trip fits in one book, with day pages marking where each island begins. Choose a Mallorca cover and retitle it Balearics, or keep Mallorca if that is where most of the photos were taken.
Which cover suits a family holiday?
The golden sun is the simplest and brightest, and works for a family week by the pool. The straw hat with sunglasses and a lemon suits a slower, grown-up trip of beaches and long lunches.
Can I use my own photo of a cala on the cover?
Yes. Choose a photo cover style such as Image or Poster instead of a drawing, and put your favourite picture of the turquoise water on the front.
Can I make my Mallorca photo book on my phone?
Yes. Make it on the web here or in the TripMemo app on iPhone, which sorts your holiday photos by day and place.
How much does a Mallorca photo book cost?
A Mallorca photo book starts at £26.49 for a softcover, £28.49 for a hardcover and £41.99 for a layflat, before delivery. The price grows with the pages you add, and you see the exact total, with delivery to your address, before you pay. UK orders usually arrive in 5 to 8 working days, and we ship worldwide.
How many photos do I need for a Mallorca photo book?
A short break usually gives 60 to 120 photos worth printing, which fill 24 to 40 pages. A week gives 150 to 250 photos for 40 to 80 pages, and two weeks or more 250 to 400 photos for 80 to 150 pages. Your photos are laid out for you, two to a page by default, and you can change it to one to four.
