Make a photo book of your Paris trip
- 7 illustrated covers drawn for Paris
- Hardcover, softcover or layflat, in three sizes
- Made on the web or in the app, printed when you order
A few days in Paris leave you with more photos than seems reasonable: the tower from three bridges, a croissant on a café table, the Louvre pyramid at night, a Métro sign in green ironwork, the view from the top of Montmartre. Then there is the restaurant you booked months ahead, and the one you found by accident and liked more. A book is how those days become one story again.
Every cover here says Paris in tall serif capitals with the year beneath. Beneath the title sits one picture of the city: the Eiffel Tower in gold or pink, two padlocks linked together, champagne coupes, heart-shaped cherries, or one of two very well-groomed poodles. Pick the one that sounds like your trip, and fill the pages with your own photos on the web or in the TripMemo app.

Where in Paris?
The cities, coasts and corners the Paris covers are drawn for. Pick the place your trip was about, or keep the whole country on the front.

Paris
7 covers
Every cover in this collection is drawn for Paris itself, and they split into three moods. The two Eiffel Towers, one gold on blue and one blush on pink, are for a first visit, when the tower is the photo you came for. The love locks, the heart-shaped cherries and the champagne coupes are for couples: a proposal on the Trocadéro, a honeymoon, a tenth anniversary. The two poodles are for the trip that was mostly fun.

Montmartre
Montmartre is the hill: Sacré-Cœur above the steps, the painters' easels on the Place du Tertre, the pink walls of La Maison Rose, and the Mur des Je t'aime, a wall of "I love you" in hundreds of languages in a small square by Abbesses Métro. If your trip had a proposal or an anniversary in it, this chapter usually holds the photo, and the love locks or heart cherries suit it on the front.

The Marais and the islands
The Marais is the arcades of the Place des Vosges, falafel on the Rue des Rosiers and an afternoon in small galleries and vintage shops. A short walk away, the Île de la Cité has Notre-Dame and the Sainte-Chapelle's stained glass, and the Île Saint-Louis has Berthillon ice cream and the quietest quays in the centre. The yellow poodle suits a book of these slow, wandering days.

The Left Bank
Saint-Germain and the Latin Quarter are terraces at the Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots, the green bookstalls along the river, Shakespeare and Company opposite Notre-Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens, where children push toy sailboats across the pond. The Musée d'Orsay sits on this bank too, with its great clock window looking out over the Seine. The pink Eiffel Tower and the poodle in sunglasses both suit a Left Bank weekend.

Day trips from Paris
Plenty of Paris books have a chapter outside the city: the Hall of Mirrors and gardens at Versailles, Monet's water lilies and green bridge at Giverny, a champagne house in Reims or Épernay, or two days at Disneyland Paris. None has a cover of its own, but they sit naturally inside a Paris book, and the champagne coupes were made for the cellar tour.
Paris photo book ideas
Most Paris trips are three or four nights, often off the Eurostar into the Gare du Nord, walked one part of the city at a time with a day out at the end. Here is how to shape those days into chapters.
Build it chapter by chapter
Follow the route you took and let each stop be its own chapter. Turn on day pages and every day opens with a page you can title, so the book reads in the order you lived it.
The Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro
The tower from the Trocadéro terrace at sunrise before the crowds, again from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, a picnic on the Champ de Mars, and the five minutes of sparkling lights on the hour after dark.

The Louvre, the Tuileries and the Seine
The glass pyramid lit up at night, the green chairs round the Tuileries ponds, the view through the clock window at the Musée d'Orsay, and the bridges from a boat on the Seine.
The Marais and the islands
The red-brick arcades of the Place des Vosges, a falafel queue on the Rue des Rosiers, the stained glass of the Sainte-Chapelle, and Notre-Dame from the quay on the Île Saint-Louis with an ice cream in hand.
Saint-Germain and the Luxembourg
Breakfast on a café terrace in Saint-Germain, the bookstalls along the river, the shopfront of Shakespeare and Company, and the toy sailboats and palace front in the Luxembourg Gardens.
Montmartre
The city from the steps of Sacré-Cœur, the Art Nouveau Métro entrance at Abbesses, the Mur des Je t'aime, La Maison Rose on its corner and the vineyard on the Rue des Saules.
A day out
The Hall of Mirrors and the long view down the gardens at Versailles, the Japanese bridge over Monet's lily pond at Giverny in spring or summer, or the chalk cellars of a champagne house.
The little things
The landmarks take care of themselves. These are the photos you’ll be glad you took.

- A Métro sign in Art Nouveau ironwork
- A box of macarons from the patisserie

Make it here on the web or in the TripMemo app on iPhone. Your book is saved as you go.
Start your Paris bookChoose a cover
Pick one of the 7 Paris covers, change its title, or put your own photo on the front.
Add your photos
They’re laid out for you, page by page. The TripMemo app also sorts your trip by day and place. Then move, crop and caption anything.
Check it and order
See every page as it will print and download a proof. It’s printed when you order and sent tracked, in about 5 to 8 working days in the UK.
Make it yours
A Paris city break is short and full, so day pages earn their place: Saturday can be the Louvre and the Tuileries, Sunday the market on the Rue Cler and the tower after dark. Use captions for the names of bistros and bakeries you mean to find again, and a note for the things only you will understand, like the waiter who refused to let you order the wrong wine.
If the trip marked something, say so on the cover. Change the title to the two of your names or to Notre Anniversaire, keep the year beneath, and the title runs down the spine as well. A softcover suits three nights; a hardcover or layflat suits the honeymoon you want on the shelf for good.
Hardcover, softcover or layflat
The same Paris cover on all three books. Choose the one that suits your trip.

Paris photo book questions
Which Paris cover suits a proposal or honeymoon?
The love locks, the heart-shaped cherries and the champagne coupes were drawn for couples. Change the title to your names or the date it happened, and the year sits beneath it on the front.
Is there an Eiffel Tower photo book cover?
Yes, two. One is a golden tower seen from below against a cornflower blue sky. The other draws the whole tower in blush and cream on rose pink, with a peach version too.
Is there a cover for Disneyland Paris or Versailles?
Neither has a cover of its own, but any Paris design can be retitled. The yellow poodle is a cheerful choice for a family trip that included Disneyland Paris, and photo cover styles such as Image or Poster let your own picture of the castle or the palace go on the front.
Can I make a book of a Christmas trip to Paris?
Yes. Any of these covers works in winter. Fill the pages with the lights on the Champs-Élysées, the tree under the dome at Galeries Lafayette and the Christmas markets, and caption each day so the book reads in order.
My trip was Paris and London. Can both go in one book?
Yes. A book can hold a trip across several cities. Turn on day pages to mark the day you crossed on the Eurostar, and choose a Paris cover or retitle one to cover both.
Can I make my Paris photo book on my phone?
Yes. Make it on the web here or in the TripMemo app on iPhone, which sorts your trip photos by day and place, so each part of the city lands in its own chapter.
How much does a Paris photo book cost?
A Paris photo book starts at £26.49 for a softcover, £28.49 for a hardcover and £41.99 for a layflat, before delivery. The price grows with the pages you add, and you see the exact total, with delivery to your address, before you pay. UK orders usually arrive in 5 to 8 working days, and we ship worldwide.
How many photos do I need for a Paris photo book?
A short break usually gives 60 to 120 photos worth printing, which fill 24 to 40 pages. A week gives 150 to 250 photos for 40 to 80 pages, and two weeks or more 250 to 400 photos for 80 to 150 pages. Your photos are laid out for you, two to a page by default, and you can change it to one to four.
