Make a photo book of your Florida trip
- 6 illustrated covers drawn for Florida
- 3 places on the covers
- Hardcover, softcover or layflat, in three sizes
- Made on the web or in the app, printed when you order
A Florida trip is usually two holidays in one. There is the Orlando half, with park maps, character breakfasts, a pool at the villa and a rocket launch pad on the horizon, and then there is the coast: Miami's pastel lifeguard huts, an airboat in the Everglades, the long bridges down to Key West and a Gulf sunset with a cocktail in hand. Two weeks of that leaves thousands of photos and a family who all remember it slightly differently. A book puts it back in order.
The covers are drawn in Florida's own colours, hot pink, aqua and palm green. Two say Florida, with a pair of palms or a flamingo standing on one leg; three say Miami, with a flamingo in hibiscus, pink sunglasses reflecting the skyline, and a lifeguard tower against a striped sunset. A red convertible titled USA is here for the road trip that started further north.

Where in Florida?
The cities, coasts and corners the Florida covers are drawn for. Pick the place your trip was about, or keep the whole country on the front.

Orlando and the theme parks
For many families, and almost every UK one, Florida starts in Orlando: Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, Spaceship Earth at EPCOT, the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom, Hogwarts at Universal and the newer worlds of Epic Universe. Add the Kennedy Space Center an hour east, where the rockets stand in the garden and launches go up from the Cape.
There is no Orlando cover by name, but the Florida palms and the Florida flamingo both suit a park holiday, and you can retitle either one to Orlando, or to the name of the villa you rented.

Miami
3 covers
Miami is Ocean Drive's Art Deco hotels lit up in neon, the colourful lifeguard huts along South Beach, the murals of Wynwood and a cafecito at a window in Little Havana. It has three covers of its own: a flamingo among hibiscus on aqua, a pair of pink sunglasses with the skyline in the lenses, and a lifeguard tower in front of a striped sun.

The Everglades
A day in the Everglades is often the wildest chapter of a Florida book: alligators sunning beside the Anhinga Trail, herons and wood storks in the sawgrass, the tram loop at Shark Valley, an airboat ride on the edge of the park. The flamingo covers sit well over these pages, and photos of wading birds look striking in print.

The Florida Keys and Key West
The Overseas Highway hops island to island over open water, with the Seven Mile Bridge as the long centrepiece, and ends in Key West: the striped buoy at the Southernmost Point, sunset at Mallory Square, Hemingway's house and its six-toed cats, and a slice of key lime pie. Any Florida cover can carry the title Key West, and the USA convertible suits the drive down with the roof off.

The Gulf Coast
On the Gulf side the sand is white and the sun sets over the sea: Clearwater Beach and St Pete, the soft quartz sand of Siesta Key, shells on Sanibel and the quiet beaches of Naples. Many Orlando holidays finish with a week here. The Florida palms cover was made for exactly this kind of beach.
Florida photo book ideas
The classic Florida holiday from the UK is two weeks: about ten days around Orlando's parks, then a drive to the beach. A longer loop takes in Miami, the Everglades and the Keys before heading back up the Gulf Coast. Here is how to turn that loop into chapters.
Build it chapter by chapter
Follow the route you took and let each stop be its own chapter. Turn on day pages and every day opens with a page you can title, so the book reads in the order you lived it.
Orlando's parks
Cinderella Castle during the evening fireworks, the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom, Hogwarts lit up at Universal, and everyone in their mouse ears on the first morning.
The Space Coast
The Saturn V rocket hall and Space Shuttle Atlantis at Kennedy Space Center, a launch from the beach at Cocoa if the dates line up, and the pier at Cocoa Beach.
Miami
The Art Deco hotels on Ocean Drive as their neon comes on, the pastel lifeguard huts on South Beach, the painted walls of Wynwood, and dominoes and coffee on Calle Ocho in Little Havana.

The Everglades
Alligators on the banks of the Anhinga Trail, anhingas drying their wings, the view from the observation tower at Shark Valley, and the spray from an airboat.
The Keys and Key West
The Seven Mile Bridge from the old bridge beside it, the Southernmost Point buoy, the crowd at Mallory Square as the sun goes down, and the chickens wandering Duval Street.
The Gulf Coast
Sunset over the Gulf at Naples, shells on the sand at Sanibel, the white quartz beach at Siesta Key, and the evening sunset celebration at Pier 60 in Clearwater.
The little things
The landmarks take care of themselves. These are the photos you’ll be glad you took.

- A pink flamingo, real or plastic
- Mickey-shaped pretzels
- Key lime pie
- The pool at the villa
- A manatee or a dolphin

Start your Florida bookChoose a cover
Pick one of the 6 Florida covers, change its title, or put your own photo on the front.
Add your photos
They’re laid out for you, page by page. The TripMemo app also sorts your trip by day and place. Then move, crop and caption anything.
Check it and order
See every page as it will print and download a proof. It’s printed when you order and sent tracked, in about 5 to 8 working days in the UK.
Make it yours
Florida trips are long and busy, so let the studio put your photos back in time order and use day pages to keep each park day separate: Magic Kingdom on Monday, a water park on Tuesday, a rest day by the pool on Wednesday. Switch on the route map and the book opens with the whole loop, from Orlando to Miami, down to Key West and back up the Gulf.
Caption the rides the children were finally tall enough for, the name of the airboat captain and the beach where you saw the dolphins. If the trip was a first visit or a big birthday, change the title and year on the cover to say so, or put your own photo of the castle or the sunset on the front instead.
Hardcover, softcover or layflat
The same Florida cover on all three books. Choose the one that suits your trip.

Florida photo book questions
Is there an Orlando or Disney cover?
Not by name. The Florida palms and the Florida flamingo covers both suit a theme park holiday, and you can retitle either one to Orlando. If you would rather have the castle on the front, choose a photo cover style and use your own picture.
Which cover suits a Miami trip?
Miami has three covers of its own: a flamingo among hibiscus on aqua, pink sunglasses reflecting palms and the skyline, and a pink and orange lifeguard tower in front of a striped sunset. All three say Miami on the front.
Can I put Orlando, Miami and the Keys in one book?
Yes. One book can hold a whole Florida loop. Day pages open each day so the move from the parks to the coast stays clear, and a route map at the front shows the drive.
Is there a cover for Key West, the Everglades or the Gulf Coast?
There is no cover named for them, but every cover can be retitled. The Florida palms suit Key West or Clearwater, the flamingo covers suit the Everglades, and the USA convertible suits a drive down the Overseas Highway.
Why is there a USA cover on the Florida page?
The red convertible under a palm is titled USA, for road trips that cross several states and end in the sun. It is shown here because it fits that kind of trip, and you can change its title to Florida if you prefer.
Can I make my Florida photo book in the app?
Yes. Make it in the TripMemo app on iPhone, which sorts your holiday photos by day and place, or on the web in the print studio. Both show every page before you order, with a PDF proof.
How much does a Florida photo book cost?
A Florida photo book starts at £26.49 for a softcover, £28.49 for a hardcover and £41.99 for a layflat, before delivery. The price grows with the pages you add, and you see the exact total, with delivery to your address, before you pay. UK orders usually arrive in 5 to 8 working days, and we ship worldwide.
How many photos do I need for a Florida photo book?
A short break usually gives 60 to 120 photos worth printing, which fill 24 to 40 pages. A week gives 150 to 250 photos for 40 to 80 pages, and two weeks or more 250 to 400 photos for 80 to 150 pages. Your photos are laid out for you, two to a page by default, and you can change it to one to four.
