Make a photo book of your Canada trip
- 12 illustrated covers drawn for Canada
- 8 places on the covers
- Hardcover, softcover or layflat, in three sizes
- Made on the web or in the app, printed when you order
Canada is a long way across, and most trips there cover a lot of it: a few nights in Toronto, a flight west, then the mountains. This collection follows that shape, with covers for the cities, for the Rockies and the lakes, for a ski week and for Okanagan wine country.
Each cover is a flat, poster-style illustration with the place name set large across the top and the year of your trip underneath. Choose the one that matches your holiday, add your own photos, and you have a Canada photo album you can hold, printed to order as a hardcover, a lighter softcover or a layflat. Make it on the web in the print studio, or in the TripMemo app on iPhone.

Where in Canada?
The cities, coasts and corners the Canada covers are drawn for. Pick the place your trip was about, or keep the whole country on the front.

Banff and the Rockies
2 covers
Banff has covers of its own. The lake design is the Banff of postcards: one mountain, a fringe of pines and the milky turquoise of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. The grizzly is for the other side of a Rockies trip, the drives along the Icefields Parkway with everyone watching the verges for bears. If the route also took in Jasper or Yoho, the Canada mountain lake cover keeps the title broad.

Toronto
2 covers
Toronto is drawn as a full lakefront skyline with the CN Tower and the stadium dome, and as the tower on its own in teal or pink. Both suit a city break of markets, ballgames and the ferry to the Toronto Islands.

Ontario
4 covers
The green Ontario cover puts a sailboat on Lake Ontario in front of the city, and the red canoe is for a lake weekend in Muskoka or a paddle through Algonquin Park. A first visit that pairs Toronto with Niagara Falls usually suits the Ontario title, since one name covers both.

Vancouver and Whistler
Suspension bridge
The Vancouver cover shows the Lions Gate Bridge stretched across the water, the crossing from Stanley Park to the North Shore mountains. Carry on up the Sea to Sky Highway and Whistler has its own cover: two red skis standing in the snow, for ski and snowboard trips.

Montreal
Spiral staircase
The outdoor spiral staircases of the Plateau are one of the city's signatures, and this cover draws one in detail, down to the window boxes. It suits a long weekend of bagels, bistros and the walk up Mount Royal.

Kelowna and the Okanagan
Red wine and grapes
Kelowna sits on Okanagan Lake with vineyards on the slopes around it, and the cover puts exactly that behind a glass of red: the one to pick for a winery trip or a lake summer in British Columbia.
Canada photo book ideas
Most Canada trips from the UK are a fly-drive: a few days in Toronto or Montreal, then a flight west to Calgary for the Rockies, ending on the coast in Vancouver. A route map at the front and a chapter for each stop keep all those kilometres in order.
Build it chapter by chapter
Follow the route you took and let each stop be its own chapter. Turn on day pages and every day opens with a page you can title, so the book reads in the order you lived it.
Toronto and Niagara Falls
The skyline from the Toronto Islands ferry at sunset, the view down from the CN Tower, then the boat into the spray at the foot of the Horseshoe Falls and the falls lit up after dark.

Montreal and Quebec City
Spiral stairs on the Plateau, bagels from a wood-fired oven and the view from Mount Royal, then the Château Frontenac above the St Lawrence and the narrow streets of Old Québec, best of all under snow.

Banff, Lake Louise and the Icefields Parkway
Moraine Lake at sunrise, a red canoe on Emerald Lake, elk and bears from the car along the Icefields Parkway, and a walk out onto the Athabasca Glacier on the way to Jasper.

The Okanagan
Vineyard terraces above Okanagan Lake, a tasting with a view of the water, and fruit stands along the highway in summer.

Whistler and Vancouver
The Peak 2 Peak Gondola and the Sea to Sky Highway down to the city, the Stanley Park seawall by bike, the Lions Gate Bridge from Prospect Point, and lunch at Granville Island market.

Vancouver Island and Tofino
The ferry across the Strait of Georgia, whales off Tofino, surfers and driftwood on Long Beach, and the harbour in Victoria at dusk.
The little things
The landmarks take care of themselves. These are the photos you’ll be glad you took.
- Poutine in a paper tray
- Red chairs at a viewpoint
- Bear warning signs at a trailhead
- Elk on the road
- Maple leaves turning red

How to make your Canada photo book
Make it here on the web or in the TripMemo app on iPhone. Your book is saved as you go.
Start your Canada bookChoose a cover
Pick one of the 12 Canada covers, change its title, or put your own photo on the front.
Add your photos
They’re laid out for you, page by page. The TripMemo app also sorts your trip by day and place. Then move, crop and caption anything.
Check it and order
See every page as it will print and download a proof. It’s printed when you order and sent tracked, in about 5 to 8 working days in the UK.
Make it yours
A Canada book can follow the whole route. Switch on the route map and the title page draws a map of where you went, so Toronto and the Rockies sit on one page. Day pages open each day with its date, and you choose one to four photos per page, with captions for the shots that need explaining (which lake was that?) and notes for the days worth remembering properly.
The cover takes your trip's name and year, and both can be changed: keep a city cover and retitle it, or choose the maple leaf and call the book Canada. You can also put one of your own photos on the front instead.
Hardcover, softcover or layflat
The same Canada cover on all three books. Choose the one that suits your trip.

Canada photo book questions
Can I put Toronto, Banff and Vancouver in one Canada photo book?
Yes. One book holds the whole trip, with a day page before each day and an optional route map at the front. Pick the cover that fits best, such as the maple leaf or the mountain lake, and change its title to suit.
Is there a cover for Lake Louise or Jasper?
Not by name, but the Banff lake and Canada mountain lake designs both show turquoise mountain lakes and pines, and you can change the title on the cover.
Do you have a Niagara Falls cover?
Not on its own. For a trip that combines Toronto and Niagara Falls, the Ontario covers are the closest fit, or use your own photo of the falls on the front.
Can I make a photo book of a ski trip to Whistler?
Yes. The Whistler cover shows red skis and poles standing in snow. Add your photos from the slopes and the village, and caption the runs you want to remember.
Can I make my Canada photo book on my phone?
Yes. Make it on the web in the print studio, or in the TripMemo app on iPhone, which sorts your trip photos by day and place for you.
Which cover suits a rail journey through the Rockies?
The Canada mountain lake cover, with snow-capped peaks above a turquoise lake, keeps the title broad for a train trip between Vancouver and Banff or Jasper. Day pages open each day of the journey, and the route map at the front shows where you went.
Can I use my own photo on the cover instead?
Yes. Every book can have a photo cover instead of an illustration. The illustrated designs print in portrait and square shapes.
How much does a Canada photo book cost?
A Canada photo book starts at £26.49 for a softcover, £28.49 for a hardcover and £41.99 for a layflat, before delivery. The price grows with the pages you add, and you see the exact total, with delivery to your address, before you pay. UK orders usually arrive in 5 to 8 working days, and we ship worldwide.
How many photos do I need for a Canada photo book?
A short break usually gives 60 to 120 photos worth printing, which fill 24 to 40 pages. A week gives 150 to 250 photos for 40 to 80 pages, and two weeks or more 250 to 400 photos for 80 to 150 pages. Your photos are laid out for you, two to a page by default, and you can change it to one to four.
