Make a photo book of your Spain trip
- 18 illustrated covers drawn for Spain
- 9 places on the covers
- Hardcover, softcover or layflat, in three sizes
- Made on the web or in the app, printed when you order
Spain is where a lot of us go back to year after year, which is exactly why the photos blur together. Was that the Mallorca summer or the Menorca one? A book with the right cover on the shelf answers the question for good.
The designs follow the places people actually holiday: the Balearics, Tenerife, the Costa Blanca around Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona. A few cover the whole country, with flamenco fans, orange blossom and halved oranges. Pick one, add your pictures in the web studio or the TripMemo app, and check every page before it is printed.

Where in Spain?
The cities, coasts and corners the Spain covers are drawn for. Pick the place your trip was about, or keep the whole country on the front.

Barcelona
Sagrada Família
Barcelona books fill fast: Gaudí's mosaics in Park Güell, the Gothic Quarter at night, the market stalls of La Boqueria and a late swim off Barceloneta. The Sagrada Família cover gives the city its most recognisable outline.

Valencia
Orange tree
Valencia is paella where it was invented, cycling the Turia gardens and the white curves of the City of Arts and Sciences. Its cover is a potted orange tree, for the fruit the region is famous for.

Alicante
3 covers
Alicante has a whole set of covers of its own. The palm promenade draws the rippled mosaic of the seafront, the old town cover catches the narrow streets of El Barrio, and the bougainvillea lane looks across the bay to a castle on its hill.

Mallorca and Palma
4 covers
A Mallorca holiday tends to be split between a beach and a day in Palma, with the cathedral above the harbour and the old wooden train over the mountains to Sóller. Choose from a straw hat with sunglasses, a plain golden sun, or one of the two Palma palm designs.
All Mallorca photo books
Menorca
Palms
Menorca is quieter: turquoise coves you walk to, Ciutadella's harbour at dusk and the lighthouse at Cavalleria. The palms cover keeps it simple, all sky and leaves.

Ibiza
Disco-ball martini
Ibiza is sunset at Café del Mar, the old walled town of Dalt Vila and a few nights you may not want fully documented. The disco-ball martini says it with a wink.

Tenerife
3 covers
Tenerife ranges from the cable car up Mount Teide to black sand beaches and banana plantations in the north. Its covers match: banana leaves, a palm with bougainvillea, and a parasol on dark volcanic sand.
Spain photo book ideas
Spain trips tend to be one of two kinds: a city break in Barcelona or Valencia, or a week or two of sun on the Costa Blanca, the Balearics or the Canaries, sometimes with a drive through Andalucía. Here is how to shape either into a book, with a drawn cover for most stops.
Build it chapter by chapter
Follow the route you took and let each stop be its own chapter. Turn on day pages and every day opens with a page you can title, so the book reads in the order you lived it.
Barcelona
The Sagrada Família's façades with the light coming through the stained glass, the mosaic benches of Park Güell, the stalls of La Boqueria and an evening on the sand at Barceloneta.

Valencia
The white curves of the City of Arts and Sciences reflected in its pools, the tiled Mercado Central, a paella pan on the table and a bike ride along the Turia gardens.

Alicante and the Costa Blanca
The rippled mosaic of the Explanada de España, the view over the bay from the Castillo de Santa Bárbara, and the flower pots on the steps of El Barrio.

Andalucía
The Alhambra glowing at sunset from the Mirador de San Nicolás, the tiled bridges of Seville's Plaza de España, the striped arches of the Mezquita in Córdoba, and a white village on a hilltop.
Mallorca
Palma cathedral above the harbour, the wooden train over the mountains to Sóller, and the turquoise water of a cala such as Caló des Moro.

Menorca and Ibiza
A cove you walked to on the Camí de Cavalls, Ciutadella's harbour at dusk, then the walls of Dalt Vila and the sunset over the sea at San Antonio.

Tenerife
The cable car up Mount Teide above the clouds, the cliffs of Los Gigantes from a boat, and a parasol on black volcanic sand.

The landmarks take care of themselves. These are the photos you’ll be glad you took.

How to make your Spain photo book
Make it here on the web or in the TripMemo app on iPhone. Your book is saved as you go.
Start your Spain bookChoose a cover
Pick one of the 18 Spain covers, change its title, or put your own photo on the front.
Add your photos
They’re laid out for you, page by page. The TripMemo app also sorts your trip by day and place. Then move, crop and caption anything.
Check it and order
See every page as it will print and download a proof. It’s printed when you order and sent tracked, in about 5 to 8 working days in the UK.
Make it yours
A beach week rarely needs every photo. Use the studio's duplicate check to clear the twelve near-identical sunset shots, put chronological order back after a shared album mixes everyone's phones, and choose up to four photos a page for the busy days. Then rename the cover if you like: the Mallorca straw hat works just as well titled with the name of your town or the family surname.
For families who return every summer, keep one cover design and change the year each time. A row of matching spines, one per holiday, is a lovely thing to build.
Hardcover, softcover or layflat
The same Spain cover on all three books. Choose the one that suits your trip.

Spain photo book questions
Is there a cover for Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza?
Yes. Mallorca has a straw hat and a sun, Palma has two palm designs, Menorca has a palms cover and Ibiza has a disco-ball martini.
Which cover suits a Tenerife holiday?
Pick the parasol on black sand if your photos are mostly beaches, the banana leaves for a greener trip in the north, or the palm and bougainvillea for a relaxed hotel holiday.
We went to Barcelona and then the coast. Can that be one book?
Yes. One book can hold the whole trip, with a page opening each day. Choose whichever cover feels right, or use a Spain design to cover everywhere at once.
Can I change the name on the cover?
Yes. The illustration stays, and the title and year are yours to edit. You could put the name of the villa, or the town you go back to every year.
What size should I choose for a two-week holiday?
Hardcover and softcover go up to a few hundred pages, so a long holiday fits easily. Layflat suits beach and pool photos that look best across a spread.
Can I put Spain and Portugal in one book?
Yes. A trip that ran from Seville to the Algarve, or from Galicia down to Porto and Lisbon, fits in one book, with day pages marking where each part begins. Choose a Spain cover and change the title to something like Spain and Portugal or Iberia.
Can I make it on my phone?
Yes. Use the web studio, or the TripMemo app on iPhone, which sorts your holiday photos by day and place for you.
How much does a Spain photo book cost?
A Spain photo book starts at £26.49 for a softcover, £28.49 for a hardcover and £41.99 for a layflat, before delivery. The price grows with the pages you add, and you see the exact total, with delivery to your address, before you pay. UK orders usually arrive in 5 to 8 working days, and we ship worldwide.
How many photos do I need for a Spain photo book?
A short break usually gives 60 to 120 photos worth printing, which fill 24 to 40 pages. A week gives 150 to 250 photos for 40 to 80 pages, and two weeks or more 250 to 400 photos for 80 to 150 pages. Your photos are laid out for you, two to a page by default, and you can change it to one to four.
